Trade Expo: India and Pakistan

Finally the new hopes of friendship between the two neighbouring countries are strengthening by yet another step by Pakistan trade association with the launch of Trade fair at Expo Karachi Pakistan where different brands from India participated for the purpose of exploring their market in Pakistan. It’s a great step by these two nations as they were not having good relations since 1947 and now there are hopes that these two countries sit together for something better.

We know that Pakistan and India had a tough past with 3 wars and rough relationship. Since inception of these two countries the relations were never remained smooth and had many ups and downs during past 65 years. That is the reason these two countries never get benefited by each other due to their tough relationships and foreigners took advantage of this.

After a long time with the efforts of trade associations of both countries, India’s brands visited Pakistan on first India-Pakistan Trade show at Karachi Expo from 21-23 December 2012. I went to expo on the first day with the aim to get potential leads for Packaging and printing industry as per my company’s nature of business. It was expected that maybe few brands from the same industry were about to take part in this Expo but it will go against my expectations as there were no brand from the same industry. There were only few companies that visited for the first addition of trade ties between Pakistan and India. The experience out there was quite satisfactory as lot of people visited Expo and hope it will be beneficial for most of the people out there. As this was the first addition and many companies have their concerns as well but I hope this will put a positive impact for other big names for future.
